On 12 November 2024, our department welcomed guests including Wan Lijing, Deputy Director of the Mother Tongue Programme Group of NTUC First Campus, Luo Yanyan and Wang Yu, the programme training supervisors of NTUC First Campus, and Amanda Yap, the principal of NTUC First Campus Little Skool House, who visited our department. The main purpose of the four guests’ visit was to observe the childcare worker certification examination center operated by the department, hoping to personally experience and understand the equipment and operation of the childcare worker certification examination center. The four guests were received by Director Cai Guifang and Teacher Wu Yung Sen from our department, who accompanied and explained the process. They believed that the childcare worker certification examination room of our department made them feel professionalism and rigor of the childcare worker certification process. They also got to know the HongKuang Early Childhood Education Department better when visiting other professional classrooms of our department. They hope that more students from our department will be able to work in kindergartens in Singapore in the future, and that the friendship between the two units will be further consolidated.
