With evolving trends and shifting family structures in Taiwan, there has been a remarkable surge in the number of women participating in the labor force. Consequently, there has been a corresponding increase in the demand for childcare programs. At the same time, society, influenced by advancements in medical, psychological, and educational perspectives, has increasingly recognized the critical significance of early human development. In the realm of childcare and education, the demand for professional expertise and techniques has become imperative. Thus, the department has established two primary teaching objectives, which are as follows:

  1. To equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as professionals in the field of child care.
  2. To nurture students into professionals with up-to-date expertise and techniques for caring for children aged 0-6, including those with special needs.
